There are a number of timber species that are well suited for use as exterior cladding. Timspec can supply timber weatherboards to suit your need, whether you want a raw natural look or a painted finish, vertical or horizontal.

New Zealand grown Radiata Pine modified to the core by a non-toxic, proprietary acetylation process.

Radiata Pine

Radiata Pine

Traditionally used cladding species and is good for paint quality. Fast grown medium density soft wood commonly used for cladding, venner, plywood and construction lumber.

Western Red Cedar

Western Red Cedar

A Premium durable timber known for its superior stability, for doors, windows, louvers, exterior cladding, weatherboards, shakes and shingles, nothing performs as well as Western Red Cedar in these situations.

Yellow Cedar

Yellow Cedar

A pale yellow coloured softwood, which is resistant to insect attacks and reported to be durable regarding decay resistance.
