The Speights Ale House needed a new floor. The Solution
Rimu is one of New Zealand's more famous native timbers. the sapwood is a pale yellowish color which darkens through an intermediate zone to the reddish brown heartwood, which can be greyish-brown streaked. It is straight-grained with a fine even texture.
